We are looking for individuals with 5+ years of interactive/digital design experience that have the gift of unique thinking with the knowledge and tools to create your thoughts in design and motion. You must be proficient within the Adobe Creative Suite especially Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, After Effects and Dreamweaver. Qualified individuals must have a great grasp of Flash and/or After Effects motion development and knowledge of Actionscript. The bridge between great design and motion rests upon your shoulders. Communication skills are a must and the ability to play nice with team members is crucial. Being a digitally trained individual, please have a portfolio we can view online.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Required:

  • 5+ years agency design experience
  • Expert understanding and experience with motion graphics, animations, and integration of sound/music
  • Proficient in design related tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)
  • Work closely with web developers (both front end and back end)
  • Work closely with other animators and designers to ensure that creative intent and results are achieved at the highest level
  • Work closely with Flash developers and animators on Flash projects ensuring peer-to-peer sharing of knowledge and practices
  • Work closely with Interactive producers to ensure that deadlines and client expectations are both met and exceeded

Preferred:

  • Comfortable working with mid-sized development teams
  • Possess client-facing skills and professionalism
  • Experience with version control systems
  • The ability and motivation to juggle multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills and contributor to the team

Technical

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be proficient with Flash, Actionscript, Photoshop, Illustrator, & basic HTML. Proficiency and experience with Actionscript is necessary, but candidates should be able to exhibit visual design skill in tandem with animation and Actionscript programming.
