The Position: Flash Designer for High Profile Music Account The Creative Department is looking for a Flash designer with experience over various interactive platforms who is comfortable communicating with a wide range of people.

Skills: Candidates should have the following skills:

Technical

*Intermediate Flash animation, design and Actionscript

*Ability to design a wide array of interactive experiences ranging from banners to rich media

*Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

*Knowledge in HTML and CSS

*Knowledge of current interactive technologies

General

*Excellent communication skills

*Must be able to function independently and still work well in a “team oriented” environment

*Ability to clearly articulate design concepts and themes

*Must have excellent problem solving skills and love technical challenges

ROKKAN, a New York City based interactive agency, is looking for full time and freelance Flash developers for immediate hire. We’re looking for a serious Flash developer itching to strut their Flash “stuff” on some exciting projects. Candidates should be able to tackle all aspects of a Flash project. This means you should be comfortably versed in Actionscript, have a keen eye for design/motion, and be able to handle a fast paced environment with your time management and organizational skills.

Requirements:
3+ years of Flash development experience
Proficient in object-oriented development with with AS 2.0
Experience with data driven Flash development (XML, remoting, etc)
Knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript
Proficient with Photoshop and Illustrator
Well versed in Flash video technologies
Knowledge of Actiosncript 3.0 is a definite plus.
Additional technologies a plus (SVN, Flex, AIR, PHP, .Net, etc.)

DESCRIPTION:: TRIGGER, a creative interactive agency focused on entertainment and youth brand marketing, is looking for a Flash Developer for a mid-level position with an opportunity to create high profile sites, online games and mobile applications for top entertainment clients in a fast-paced working environment. You must have at least 2 years working experience to be considered.

DEVELOPER SHOULD BE::
Self-motivated: After being provided initial direction and specs, be able to build on the design and push it through production to completion.
Creative: Follow the initial design, but don’t be afraid to provide unique input into the project.
Team player: Work well with others… good communication, responsible and respectful of others. (No egos please!) *Should be enthusiastic and immersed in movies, mobile technology, games, comic books, super heroes and other pop culture that fuel our clients and projects.

SPECIFIC SKILLS::
Must manage your own workload and function on a milestone basis with an art director and/or producer as well as an overall good sense of project/time management.
Advanced skills in ActionScript 2.0 & 3.0 Flash classes, Flash video & Flash communication server, and XML
Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Photoshop, Mac OS operating system or Windows/XP.
Knowledge of server-side scripting language and other programming languages
Ability to manage dynamic data (eg XML) in Flash.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES::
Utilize Adobe Flash design and coding skills to develop applications for websites and other interactive outlets.
Translate static photoshop layouts into working Flash applications.
Work with internal teams on development requirements such as timelines and resources.
Write JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Communicate at the production level with the project manager and art director.
Oversee freelance Flash designers as necessary.

Does writing Action Script code get you excited, and tweening get you down? Are you passionate about creating moving experiences in the interactive space? Do you want to craft work that will end up in places like this?
Then you could be the Flash Architect we’re looking for. If things work out and we like what we see, the opportunity exists for you to join an up and coming yet seasoned group of interactive ad professionals in all disciplines, and have a seat at the strategy, creative and execution table. You’ll work with our Lead Flash Architect to conceive, create and execute bleeding edge multimedia executions for Fortune 500 brands. You will design, and execute the animations, components, frameworks, and scripts that comprise our Flash and blended multimedia projects. You will work closely with project teams to balance technical requirements with creative needs, and ensure the project achieves a successful launch.
Responsibilities:
Collaborating with creative and technical team members to determine the best Flash solutions
Developing applications using your extensive knowledge of Action Script and Flash Object-Oriented concepts
Develop programs utilizing “best practices” for multimedia content creation
Refining video and multimedia components to be deployed via FLV and CDN (Content Delivery Networks)
Have an awesome ironic sense of humor
Play an instrument (OK, if not, at least Karaoke, we have a rich company Halloween skit tradition to uphold. We have come in 2nd place the past two years and are looking for the ringer to put us over the top.)
Qualifications:
3+ years experience delivering Flash-based solutions
Agency or Web shop experience, (though work portfolio can make up for a lack of agency time)
Better than working knowledge of Flash and AS2 (If you have AS3 we’ll love you even more)
Any other motion-graphic experience (e.g. After Effects) would be awesome!
CS3, CSS/HTML, and server-side application experience for integration purposes
Be able to contribute to the burgeoning office collection of awesome YouTube videos.
Other experience (Great but not necessary):
Flash online ad banner production
Rich Media portal/platform development
Fireworks and pre-production
